Goodbye, Daddy

"I think that the measure of whether a life has been a good one is how much love there has been in that life--love both given and received."

Alexander McCall Smith

He had 91 years of a very good life.

He died quietly and more easily than he'd fought pain, COPD, heart disease, bladder cancer and the rest for all these years.

He died with a wonderful doctor caring for him, with his wife of 51 years, 51 weeks at his side, with his son and his daughter with him.

Love you, Daddy. Now and forever.
